Where our coaches witness unacceptable behaviour:

  1. In the first instance players will be given a warning for unacceptable behaviour with an explanation of what behaviour was witnessed and why it was unacceptable. We will discuss with the player their actions and the effect of those actions, ask them to reflect on their behaviour. Where appropriate, we will ask them to apologise to affected parties.
  2. If the behaviour continues, a yellow card will be issued. The player will be asked to sit out of the activity for 10mins. We will contact parents/guardians to let them know what has happened during camp/classes.
  3. Any subsequent unacceptable behaviour will be a red card where players will be asked to leave the pitch. Parents will be contacted and asked to collect their children. Following a discussion with parents, a decision regarding returning to classes/camps will be made.

Zero tolerance and immediate red cards are in place for:

  • Racism and racist language.
